Joint Management Entrance Test 2012
JMET stands for Joint Management Entrance Test
Admission to the Post Graduate Management Degree Programmes (MBA/M.Mgmt) for 2012 – 2014 in six IITs (Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee) and IISc (Bengaluru) will be based on CAT 2011 score in place of JMET score. Further details regarding eligible educational qualifications and other criteria will be available in the websites of the respective Department / School of Management Studies.
JMET 2012 Eligibility

1. The requirement varies according to the institute the students are opting for. The common eligibility for appearing for the examination is four years engineering degree with 60% marks or CGPA 6.5/10 from the recognized institute or university or the Masters degree in science.
2. The M.Sc candidates must have 60% marks in the bachelors as well as the post graduate level.
3. The candidate belonging to the reservation category will get needed relaxation in the minimum mark criterion.
4. The Government of India norms will apply for Eligibility and admission of applicants from the reserved categories.
5. The candidates appearing for the final year of qualifying examination is also eligible to appear for the examination.
