Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya was established with a sole aim to restore the early Indian Gurukula system of Education. The admission to these higher level courses is offered through entrance exams carried out by this institution.
GKV Ph.D Entrance Exam Test 2012 Eligibility
1.
A candidate holding Master Degree or its equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% for SC / ST/ person with disabilities) in the main subject or in an allied subject is eligible for the Research Entrance Test (RET) and registration for Ph.D. Degree.
2. Eligible candidate shall be permitted to carry on research in concerned department of the Vishwavidyalaya.

Application Fee for GKV Ph.D Entrance Exam 2012
A candidate desirous of appearing in Research Entrance Test (RET) or direct admission (without appearing in RET) shall pay the application fee of Rs. 800/- (including postal charges) in cash or through demand draft issued by any bank in favour of ”Registrar, Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya” payable at Haridwar.
The applicant is advised to write his / her name and name of the main subject / discipline (alongwith code no.) on the reverse side of the demand draft. Application / test fee shall neither be refunded nor transferred for any other course.
