GMAT 2011- Graduate management Admission Test  2011

GMAT stands for Graduate management Admission Test the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is administered by Graduate Management Admission Council and required for admission to most U.S., Canadian, and European business school MBA programs.

It is a computer-adaptive standardized test in Mathematics and the English language for measuring aptitude to succeed academically in graduate business studies.

GMAT 2011 Eligibility

Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) is conducted for those students, who are seeking their admission into Master of Business Administration (MBA) and other equivalent postgraduate management program.

The competitive entrance test.The candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply for MAT for provisional admission subjected to the completion of their graduation.An eligibility criterion for appearing in MAT requires a candidate to be a graduate.

Graduates in any discipline.Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply.

Candidates need to have a graduate degree in any discipline. The certification must be from an institution that has an approval from the HRD Ministry, Government of India.

GMAT 2011 Syllabus

The GMAT 2011 comprises of multiple choice objective type questions in the areas of

1. Verbal Ability,

2. Reading Comprehension,

3. Quantitative Aptitude and

4. Logical/Abstract Reasoning.

In all there would be 200 questions to be answered in a total time of two and half hours (i.e. One hundred and fifty minutes). There is negative marking in some of the exam schedules and the exam is conducted 4 times in a year.
