GATE 2012- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering
GATE 2012 Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an All – India examination administered and conducted in eight zones across the country by the GATE Committee comprising faculty from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordinating Board – GATE, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development ( MHRD ), Government of India.
The test is carried out jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology for admission to Masters in Technology (M.Tech) post graduate program.
GATE 2012 Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering / Technology / Architecture ( 4 Years after 10+2 ) and those who are in the final or pre – final year of such programs. Master’s degree holders in any branch of Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre – final year of such programs.
Students who are pursuing the last year of any of these courses. The applicants who finish B.E/ B.Tech/B.Arch course. Those who are in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master’s degree course and Dual Degree course in Engineering/Technology
