Orissa Joint Entrance Exam 2012 for MCA will be conducted by the state government of Orissa for selecting meritorious students for providing admission into graduate and post graduate courses of various private and government colleges.

Orissa Joint Entrance Examination 2012 is an entrance examination for admission in to a number of professional courses like engineering, medical, pharmacy, management, Computer applications, architecture, and hotel management etc in the professional colleges of Orissa.
Orisa JEE entrance OJEE-2012 will be held on one date — May 6. This was announced by Vice-chairman of the OJEE committee Sitaram Mohapatra on Friday.

1. Engineering/Technology
Candidate should be appearing in final examination or passed 10+2 examination with a minimum score of 50% aggregate of Council of Higher Secondary Education, Orissa or equivalent exam.
The students must have subject like Physics, Mathematics, as compulsory subjects in 10+2 and one form Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology/Biotechnology in their previous class.
2. Architecture
Pass or appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2010 from a recognized Board with Mathematics as a subject of study by securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Pass in 10+3 diploma in any stream recognized by central/state govt. with 50% aggregate marks.  Detailed qualification criteria Orissa JEE (Joint entrance examination) .
3. Pharmacy
Students passed or appearing in 10+2 examination with a minimum 60% aggregate of CHSE, Orissa or equivalent can apply for admission.
The students who want to apply for pharmacy should have Physics, Chemistry or one from the subjects like Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science and Biotechnology in their previous class.
Students who have cleared the 10+3 diploma course in Pharmacy are also eligible for to apply.

Notification

1. Applications are invited for the Entrance Examination for admission to Master of Computer Applications (MCA) Course in Kerala in the AICTE approved institutions for the academic year 2010-11.
2. QUALIFICATIONS
(a) Nativity: Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
(b) (b) Academic Eligibility:
1. Colleges affiliated to MAHATMA GANDHI UNIVERSITY and KANNUR UNIVERSITY
A pass in any recognized regular Bachelor’s Degree course of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level.
OR
A pass in any recognized Regular Bachelors Degree course of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the Subjects
OR
A pass in BCA Degree of minimum three years duration from a recognized University

2. Colleges affiliated to UNIVERSITY of KERALA
Candidates should have passed Bachelors Degree of minimum three years duration after 10+2 level with a minimum of 50% marks in the subject component(s) in any discipline with Mathematics/Statistics/ComputerScience/ComputerApplication/Engineering and Technology as a Main/Subsidiary/Core subject.

3. Colleges affiliated to UNIVERSITY of CALICUT
Bachelors Degree in any discipline of 3 year duration with mathematics (this does not include Business Mathematics or Business Statistics) as one of the subjects with at least 50% marks scored in mathematics and the course undergone under the regular programme recognized by the Calicut University. 5% of relaxation in marks will be allowed in the case of SEBC candidates and for SC/ST candidates pass in examination is required.
NOTE: Candidates who are appearing / have appeared for the qualifying examination this year are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination subject to the condition that the entire mark list of the qualifying examination shall be produced by the candidate at the time of admission.

3. Entrance Examination: The Entrance Examination will be conducted at Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode on 01.08.2010 (Sunday). It will be of 2 hours duration and will consist of 150 Objective Type Questions covering the following areas of study at graduate level.
(a) Mathematics (b) Statistics (c) Physics (d) Chemistry (e) General Knowledge
(f) General English and (g) Fundamentals of Computer Awareness

4. Application Form : Prospectus and application form will be available from 22-06-2010 in the website www.cee-kerala.org (See clause 8 of the Prospectus). Candidates can apply in the online application form provided in the web site www.cee-kerala.org of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations and then remit the required fee at any branch of State Bank of Travancore (SBT) by using the chalan available in the print out of the online application form, candidates residing outside Kerala state can remit the application fee by way of demand draft drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Application fee for General/SEBC candidates Rs.800/- and for SC/ST candidates Rs.400/-.Application fee once remitted will not be refunded at any circumstances.

5. Last date and time for receipt of filled-in application forms : Candidates seeking admission should take the printout of the application after entering the details online, and forward the application with all the required documents to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, 5th Floor, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 001,either by Registered post or by hand delivery on or before 5 pm on 14.07.2010 (Wednesday).

6. Belated, incomplete and defective applications will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be undertaken in this regard.

7. Institution wise Allotment: The Institution wise allotment will be made by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations in accordance with the rank obtained by the candidates in the Entrance Examination and the order of preference of Institutions given by the candidates at the time of Online Seat Allotment. Candidates need not submit their preference for Institutions in the application form.

8. Candidates will neither be allowed to include any information in the application form nor to submit any certificates / documents claiming reservation or any benefits, after the submission of the application, under any circumstances.

9. Candidates must note that they have to obtain the required certificates in the body of the application form itself, wherever specified. The certificates that are attached separately in the application form will not be considered under any circumstances.

10. Applicants must go through the various provisions related to Entrance Examination , course eligibility, distribution of seats, reservation etc given in Prospectus for 2010, approved by the Government and available in the official website of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations at www.cee-kerala.org, before submitting the application form.
